Nagaland: Dy CM Y Patton calls for action after viral video shows poor quality shoes provided to State Police personnel

A viral video showing poor quality shoes supplied to an official of the Nagaland police is causing outrage among people.

Taking note of the viral video, Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton today urged the Director General of Police (DGP) of Nagaland, Rupin Sharma to verify the authenticity of the video and take appropriate measures.

Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton said that the welfare and safety of the State Police personnel must be ensured.

“Concerned by the video circulating that suggests poor quality shoes have been provided to Nagaland Police personnel. Urging
@DGP_Nagaland to verify its authenticity and take appropriate measures. Ensuring the welfare and safety of our forces is paramount,” Dy CM tweeted.
