IIT-G condoles death of one of its students in Guwahati

The student is said to have checked into a hotel where the student was found unconscious and rushed to the hospital.
IIT-Guwahati on Tuesday condoled the death of one of its student. The student died on December 31 outside the IIT campus.
“It is with deep regret that IIT Guwahati shares the unfortunate news of the death of a student outside the campus on 31st December 2023.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, and we are providing them with the necessary support during this difficult time. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
Our thoughts are with the grieving family, and we await the findings of the investigation,” IIT Guwahati said in a statement issued today.
The student is said to have checked into a hotel where the student was found unconscious and rushed to the hospital.
