Just two days to go for the mega Arijit Singh ‘Concert For Harmony’ to be held on December 16 at ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati. A traffic advisory has been issued to ensure safety of public and to give free passage to the emergency vehicles like ambulances, fire tenders.

To ensure safety of public, especially vulnerable road users like Children, Students, Women, Senior Citizens and    differently abled Persons on the road and to give free passage to the Emergency Vehicles like Ambulances, Fire Tenders etc., the following Traffic Restrictions/Traffic Advisory on the movement of vehicles shall be imposed on 16th December, 2023 in connection with the “Concert for Harmony” to be held at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati.

1) The Kula Basumotary Road (From Barsapara Tiniali to Dhirenpara Tiniali) will be ONE WAY from Barsapara Tiniali side. Only those vehicles having the authorized CAR PASS FOR PARKING INSIDE STADIUM will be allowed to move from Barsapara Tiniali to the main gate of Barsapara Stadium.

2) The vehicles having DROP OFF CAR PASSES will not be allowed entry into the Kula Basumotary Road. These vehicles will have to move ahead in the same direction after dropping the persons on A.K. Azad Road. The vehicles may move to earmarked parking places accordingly.

3) Vehicles without having authorized CAR PASS will not be allowed to enter into Kula Basumotary Road. These vehicles will be regulated accordingly as per traffic scenario.

4) Those people having the tickets of Outer Gate No. 2, Gate No. 3, Gate No 4, Gate No. 1A and Gate No.1B are suggested to travel via A.K Azad road (Lokhara to Paltanbazar-Nepali Mandir Road) either from Lokhra side or from Arya College side and they can park their vehicles at the designated parking spaces as stated below.

 5) Those people having the tickets of Outer Gate No. 5 and Gate No. 6 can move via A.K Dev Road (From Garchuk    Charilai to Fatasil Chariali Road) from Gorchuk side and they can park their vehicles at the designated parking spaces as stated below.

6) There will be No-entry from Dhirenpara Tiniali side towards Barsapara Stadium.

7) From Lalganesh point to Barsapara Tinali and from Barsapara Tinali to Cycle Factory, the whole stretches will be NO PARKING ZONE in order to ensure smooth traffic regulation.

8) For the hassle free traffic movement in and around the venue, the Authorized Service Provider vehicles will not be allowed to ply over Kula Basumotary Road (From Barsapara tiniali to Dhirenpara tiniali) from 3pm onwards.

9) Plying of goods carrying vehicles of 3 wheelers and above will be restricted on A.K. Azad Road, A.K. Dev Road and Kula Basumotary Road from 2 pm onwards.

10) Plying of commercial goods carrying vehicles of 4 wheels and above shall be restricted on NH-27 and NH-17 falling under Guwahati City from 2 pm to 12 Midnight on 16th December 2023.
