Despite leading the charts in the first half of the season, Rajasthan have faltered to concede the top spot in the standings to Kolkata with four successive defeats.

Having secured the playoff berth with 16 points, the Royals have been struggling lately, failing to cross the 150-run mark in their previous two games. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan have lost 4 out of their last 5 matches.

Currently, RR is placed at the 2nd position on points table with 8 wins to their credit. They have qualified for the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, KKR with 19 points are currently placed at the 1st position on points table with 9 wins to their credit after a washout against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad in the previous round handed them one point.

The top run scorer for Kolkata Knight Riders in the competition is Sunil Narine, with 461 runs to his name.

However, the Kolkata Knight Riders won their previous fixture against the Mumbai Indians by 18 runs. The match was reduced to 16 overs per side due to rain.
