Peace Dawns in Manipur, Says CM N Biren Singh During Republic Day Celebrations

Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has maintained that the participation of major tribes from both the hill and valley districts in the 76th Republic Day celebrations marks the beginning of a new era of peace in the state.
Speaking to media in Imphal, N Biren Singh praised the unity shown by the different tribal communities, emphasising that the celebration symbolised a collective step towards healing and peace.
“This year’s Republic Day is not just a national celebration but a turning point for Manipur. The active involvement of our tribal communities signifies the start of peace and unity for our state,” CM Biren Singh stated.
He also took the opportunity to highlight the state’s ongoing initiatives for peace, including the upcoming International Film Festival, which he believes will showcase Manipur’s rich culture to a global audience and promote a positive image of the region.
With these initiatives, the CM expressed hope that Manipur would continue to move forward with greater harmony among its diverse communities.
