NSCN-IM observes 25 years of Indo-Naga ceasefire

The NSCN-IM observed the 25 years of the Indo-Naga ceasefire. A program was held in Dimapur on Monday on the occasion.

Others who attended the meeting were leaders from the Naga Hoho, ENPO, United Naga Council, Naga Council Dimapur, Naga People’s Movement for Human Rights), Naga Mother’s Association, Naga Students’ Federation, and Global Naga Forum among others.
The attendees expressed concern over the delay in solution to the Naga issue despite 25 years of ceasefire.
Senior NSCN-IM leader VS Atem who is also a Member, of Collective Leadership, NSCN, and Team Leader of Cease Fire Ground Rules Review Committee in his keynote address said 25 years was a long period and that while many things have happened during this time the NSCN is still struggling to solve the Naga issue
The occasion was marked by releasing a booklet, “25 Years of Indo-Naga Ceasefire”.
