Finally the results of X and XII standards were declared today. Topper of the Arts Stream, Ben-ri-thung L Jungio secured a percentage of 91.40%, Marina Yashmin topped the Commerce stream
Finally the results of X and XII standards were declared today.
Topper of the Arts Stream, Ben-ri-thung L Jungio secured a percentage of 91.40%, Marina Yashmin topped the Commerce stream with a percentage of 97.20% and from the Science stream, it was Virie-nuo Emilia Solo who topped with a percentage of 91.60%.
It is to be mentioned that out of 21,715 candidates, a total of 14,335 candidates qualified with a percentage of 66.01% in the HSLC examination.
In the HSSLC examination, Science stream secured the highest percentage with 84.39%, followed by Commerce stream with 73.75% and Arts Stream with 73.42%.
This year the overall performance of Government schools’ and colleges’ percentage came to 40.77 comparatively to last year’s performance of 42.60%.
Speaking to Northeast Live, Chairman of the Nagaland Board of School Education, Asano Sekhose said that even though the percentage of the government schools is not very high, their overall performance has comparatively improved.
