Mizoram HS results out, pass percentage at 78.04%

The pass percentage in Arts stream is 79.71%, 72.69% in Science stream and 79.60% in Commerce stream
The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) on Tuesday declared the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examinations, 2024 in Arts, Science and Commerce streams.
The overall pass percentage is 78.04% with 79.71% in Arts stream, 72.69% in science stream and 79.60% in Commerce. The examination was conducted in the months of February and March, 2024.
A total of 11824 candidates appeared for the examination out of which 5457 were male and 6367 were female students.
Among the 11 districts, Aizawl has the highest pass percentage in all the streams with 86.43% in Arts, 78.12% in Science and 90.72% in Commerce.
Linden Lalremruatpuia of Oikos Higher Secondary School, Aizawl topped in the Arts stream scoring 471 out of a total of 500.
In the Science stream, Lalramdina Ralte of St Paul’s Higher Secondary School topped the HS exams with 477 marks out of 500.
David Lalhminghlua also from St Paul’s Higher Secondary School topped in the Commerce stream with 460 out of 500.
In 2023, the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate pass percentage was 78.66% while in 2022 it was 82.07%.
