Moreh border town's community leaders unite, seek security for essential supplies in harmony move
The border town of Moreh has taken a big step to show the way to communal harmony in the strife-torn state. Moreh is 107.5 km far from the capital city of Imphal.
A meeting of all community leaders was held in Moreh today wherein an appeal was made to the government to provide adequate central security forces for the transportation of medicines and other essential commodities to the area.
Representatives of the Hill Tribal Council, Moreh, Tamil Sangam, Manipuri Muslim Council, Moreh and Gorkha Samaj Samiiti Moreh attended the meeting.
