At a time when the Assam Police is already facing the heat for the assault on a civilian by traffic police personnel in Guwahati’s Paltan Bazar area, another shocking instance of high-handedness of police officials has come to light. This time, a police officer was recorded on camera brutally assaulting a minor inside a police station in Laharighat. As per reports, Assistant Sub Inspector Upendra Chandra Bordoloi has been allegedly assaulting a minor physically on a routine basis.
