Ganesh Rai, a young student from Chowari Baripara in the remotest part of Assam's Chirang district has won hearts with his innovation and creativity
Age is just a number when it comes to innovation. Ganesh Rai, a young student from Chowari Baripara in the remotest part of Assam’s Chirang district has won hearts with his innovation and creativity. In his latest endeavor, Ganesh Rai has revamped his old worn out bicycle into a modern-day battery-powered bicycle, replete with modern facilities like an indicator light, upper dipper, and mobile phone charger among others, things which one would normally expect to see on a bike, not a bicycle.
The impressive fact about the innovation is that Ganesh achieved all this by using mostly waste and discarded materials. Ganesh Rai is appearing for the ongoing HLSC examinations. Ganesh Rai has also made various other projects but he was unable to save them because he always reused the materials and equipment of the projects due to financial crises. The young boy has brought to life a slew of innovative projects without any formal training or technical education.
