Arunachal Assembly Polls 2024: NCP-Ajit Pawar faction announces 8 names, party president Likha Saaya to contest from Yachuli seat

State congress leader and former Education Minister,Tapang Taloh to contest from Pangin Constituency. He was a National People’s Party (NPP) MLA from Pangin in 2019.
Arunachal Pradesh National Congress Party-Ajit Pawar faction today announced its first list of 8 candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls in the state.
Party president and former Arunachal State working President of the National People’s Party (NPP), Likha Saaya would be contesting from Yachuli constituency.
The other candidates are:
NCP-Ajit Pawar faction leader and former Education Minister, Tapang Taloh to contest from Pangin Constituency. He was a National People’s Party (NPP) MLA from Pangin in 2019. Later he resigned from NPP and joined JD-S and then joined NCP-Ajit Pawar faction.
Loma Gollo has been fielded from Pakke Kesang constituency.
Party leader Nyasan Jongsam will contest from Changlang North constituency while, Ngonlin Boi will contest from Namsang seat.
Aju Chije has been fielded from Mechuka constituency, Mongol Yamso from Geku- Mariyang seat and Salman Mongrey will contest from Changlang south seat.
