As many as four cadres of NSCN-K’s Nikki Sumi faction were apprehended on Monday from Kohima in Nagaland during a joint operation by the police and the Army.

The forces also recovered one 7.62 mm AK 47 Rifle with three magazines and 77 rounds of live ammunition, eight 9 mm rounds of live ammunition and Rs 11,500 in cash at Lower Agri in Kohima district.

The apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to North Police Station, Kohima for further investigation.
