Nagaland DY CM Y Patton visits Lamhainamdi a day after violence erupted between two groups. Patton urges everyone to maintain peace.
Nagaland deputy chief minister Yanthungo Patton today visited violence affected Lamhainamdi to take stock of the situation aftermath the detreioration in law and order situation that took place on Monday.
The Nagaland DY CM said that he was distressed by the incident and feels that the unfortunate sequence of events should have been avoided.
While reviewing the law and order situation at Lamhainamdi, deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton was accompanied by ADGP, Home Commissioner, DC and SP of Peren district besides other officials.

Meanwhile, Yanthungo Patton also appealed all sections of the society to maintain peace, refrain from acts that might escalate the situation further. Nagaland DY CM Patton also uged both the parties involved in the conflict to maintain status quo.
Besides, the Nagaland deputy chief minister also expressed his gratitude to the police for quickly swinging into action and managing to bring the situation under control.
