Assam: 3-day conference on shared sustainable prosperity to begin in Dibrugarh tomorrow

The inaugural event will be graced by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Aimed at fostering an exchange of ancient indigenous knowledge with the objective of building shared sustainable prosperity for the world, the 8th International Conference and Gathering of Elders will begin in Eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh district from Sunday (January 28). The event will conclude on February 1.
Over 300 participants from over 30 nations are expected to take part in the 3-day event where they will be sharing their spiritual wisdom, represent their traditions, and experience others’.

On Day 1, 2, and 3, the conference will feature paper presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and cultural nights centered around the topics of ecological wisdom, collaborative governance, and revival of traditions. Beginning on Day 1, there will be a rally in Dibrugarh Town from Phool Bagan to Thana Charali. This will be followed by an inaugural event where Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat will be present as Chief Guest.

The Conference will conclude with a field tour to RIWATCH, where the participants will meet with the local spiritual leaders. Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu will inaugurate the museum and the International House of Thoughts.

The Conference will be held at Shiksha Valley School in Dibrugarh.
