Two children who were abducted from Gotanagar area of Maligaon near Guwahati on Friday have been safely rescued by Guwahati police from Mahua in Bihar’s Vaishali district.

The two children, aged 4 and 9, were taken by a family acquaintance on Thursday evening on the pretext of taking them for a ride and did not return.
