Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu inaugurates 5th Junior Boys National Boxing Championship

500 boxers from different parts of the country are participating in the event
The 5th Junior Boys National Boxing Championship got underway in Arunachal Pradesh today. Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the sporting event where over 500 boxers from different parts of the country are taking part.
Chief Minister Khandu tweeted, “It is an honour for us in Arunachal Pradesh to be hosting the 5th Junior Boys National Boxing Championship, beginning today. I welcome over 500 boxers and coaches, who have come from different parts of the country, to participate in the event. This is an occasion to showcase our diversity & inclusivity of sports.”
Chief Minister Khandu also conveyed his best wishes to the 11-member team from the frontier state participating in the event.
“Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh hosted international table tennis championship, and also the national curling event. Every Arunachali should take pride in their loving state, marching ahead speedily in sporting arena as well,” Chief Minister Khandu added.
