SCAN lashed out at the State Government accusing it of failing to protect the interest of the public, ecosystem, or environment.
The Senior Citizens’ Association of Nagaland has made some big allegations accusing the NSCN-IM of overrunning the Intangki Reserve Forest in Peren district.
Addressing the media, the Senior Citizens’ Association or SCAN alleged that the Forest Department infrastructures were being occupied by the insurgent group and Forest Staff were not able to carry out their supervisory work.
SCAN based on the concern of the people filed an RTI. The association claimed that despite the harassment meted out by the insurgent group the State government has kept decided to keep silent.
SCAN lashed out at the State Government accusing it of failing to protect the interest of the public, ecosystem, or environment.
The senior citizens expressed that the act of taking over a Government establishment proves NSCN-IM is commanding the governance in the state and the Chief Ministers in their own time have allowed such a development to take place.
