Nagaland: ENPO Thanks PM Modi, HM Shah for Initiating Steps Towards Early Solution to Their Separate State Demand

The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) has extended its gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their serious consideration of its demands and initiating steps towards an early resolution to their separate state demands.
This has been conveyed by Nagaland BJP president Benjamin Yepthomi, after he met an ENPO delegation at his residence in Dimapur yesterday.
The ENPO delegation was led by its president Chingmak Chang.
During the meeting, Yepthomi had meaningful discussions on several important issues, particularly on the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) demand with the ENPO delegation.
Yepthomi said that it was a privilege for him to host the ENPO delegation and thereby exchange collective thoughts for progress and understanding of the issue.
The ENPO team led by the President also lauded the Nagaland BJP for taking the ENPO matter seriously and extended their appreciation for the support rendered by the party at the Center under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

Earlier, the ENPO team led by its president A Chingmak Chang had also met Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, in Kohima.
As per sources, the meeting deliberated at length on ENPO’s demand for FNT and ENPO also urged the state government to give its comment on FNT to the Ministry of Home Affairs at the earliest. However, during the meeting, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio did not give any time frame for when the state government will give its comments.
