Arunachal Cong promises 30 lakh jobs, LPG cylinder at Rs 500 and much more if voted to power

Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today announced five guarantees if it gets elected in the 2024 assembly elections in the state.
Addressing media in Itanagar, APCC said that if the party is voted to power this time, it would reduce the price of LPG cylinders to Rs 500 from the current price of Rs 868.
The party has vowed to immediately fill up 30 lakh vacancies for permanent jobs in the central Government.
It said that all unemployed youths in the state will be given a pension of Rs 8500, and ASHA workers will be given Rs 1 lakh per year.
It has promised to restore the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) to secure the welfare of the state government employees and their family members.
Moreover, APCC also said that the party will construct the promised press colony to accommodate members of the state’s media fraternity and will ensure that examinations are appropriately conducted in the state by enacting a new law to prevent paper leaks.
The press colony was a promise by Late Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu.
Stating that Congress is contesting this election to save democracy, APCC urged everyone to vote for them and save the democracy and rights of tribals, especially in Arunachal Pradesh.
“People of Arunachal Pradesh are confused. This election is about saving our democracy and the Constitution of India. Youth and women are being treated unfairly throughout the country.
And we are fighting to save democracy and our Indian Constitution. We want to give the people of Arunachal Pradesh, social justice, economic justice and political justice,” said General Secretary of APCC.
Polling for the 50 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats in Arunachal Pradesh will be held on April 19 and results will for the Assembly polls will be declared on June 2 and for the LS polls on June 4.
Ruling BJP has won 10 seats unopposed.
