Mizoram sees no new COVID-19 case in last 24 hours

For the first time since the detection of the first case on, no new cases of COVID-19 has been reported in Mizoram in the last 24 hours, the State’s Information and Public Relations department informed on Monday.

All samples sent for testing at Zoram Medical College, including RT-PCR and TrueNat tests were found negative. 424 Rapid Antigen Tests also turned out negative.

With no case reported on Sunday, the COVID-19 tally in the State stands at 2,120 cases, including 313 active cases, while 1,807 patients have been discharged.

No casualties due to the infection have been reported in the State so far.
