Barely 36 hours after the horrific rape incident reported from Tihu in Assam’s Nalbari district, yet another rape of a incident has sent shock waves across the State.
This latest incident has been reported from Baksa district in Assam’s Barak Valley. A specially-abled woman has been allegedly raped by unidentified miscreants in her own residence.
According to reports coming in, the miscreants broke into her home and allegedly raped her following which she became unconscious.
After the woman regained her consciousness she managed to come out of her home and explained the horrific incident to her neighbours.
Meanwhile, the woman has lodged an FIR in a local Police Station and police have started investigation into the incident.
So far the police has been able to recover a mobile phone from the residence of the victim.
