Road rage: Doctor’s husband beats up auto driver for not giving pass to wife’s car

In a case of road rage, an autorickshaw driver was allegedly thrashed by the husband of a doctor for not giving pass to his wife’s car. Angry mob gathered at the site and vandalised the doctor’s car. The incident took place at Silchar, Assam.
The lady doctor’s husband beat up the autorickshaw driver with an iron rod injuring him grievously.
The incident happened in Rangpur area in Silchar on Monday evening when the doctor was driving home after finishing her work. Suddenly the autorickshaw turned in front of her car which led to a quarrel between them. Later, the lady doctor’s husband came out with the iron rod in his hand and beat the auto driver injuring him severely.
Soon police reached the spot and controlled the situation and sent the injured auto driver to a nearby hospital.
