Pre-poll violence continues in Manipur. National People’s Party candidate in Manipur’s Andro constituency, L. Sanjoy Singh’s father Shamjai Singh has been shot by unknown miscreants last night.
The incident reportedly happened yesterday at 9:30 pm.
Shamjai Singh was shot in his right shoulder by unknown miscreants while campaigning at Yaripok Yambeem Leikai.
Meanwhile, NPP chief and Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma have visited Singh at the hospital.
