Hizbul Mujahideen’s terror trail in Assam seems to be getting bigger. Startling facts have come to light following investigations into the case.
As many as 5 top Hizbul Mujahideen commanders had visited Assam recently and were planning to carry out subversive activities in the State.
Investigations revealed that the Hizbul commanders were in Assam for at least 5 days to carry out recce mission in the State.
Sources claim that of the 5 Hizbul terrorist that visited Assam one has been identified as Aamir.
Aamir is reportedly from Pakistan and is responsible for establishing the module in the State. It has also been learnt that Qamer-uz-Zaman was trained by Aamir.
2 of the 5 Hizbul terrorists that came to Assam also visited Dimapur in neighbouring Nagaland in a bid to procure required arms and ammunition for carrying out subversive activities in the State.
