BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav today revealed that more groups like the NSCN-K are expected to join the Naga peace talks soon and a solution can be reached at the earliest.
Madhav was addressing the 7th BJP state executive council meet at Mokukchung in Nagaland.
The Centre is committed to resolve the Naga Political issue soon. However, currently it is waiting for other groups like the NSCN-K to turn to the talks table.
BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav made this revelation while speaking exclusively to Northeast Live at Mokukchung.
Madhav said once these groups join the peace process, a solution can be reached at soon.
He added that the state BJP supports an early solution that is honourable, acceptable and all inclusive.
Meanwhile, in a big relief to the Neiphiu Rio led PDA alliance in the state, Madhav said The BJP is committed to its pre-poll alliance with the NDPP.
On reports of NPF trying to woo ruling coalition MLAs, Ram Madhav said the days of horse trading are over in Nagaland as there is a stable alliance in place.
Talking about the party’s political ambitions in the state, Madhav said BJP’s next target would be to form the government on its own in Nagaland.
