ANSAM Elects New Office Bearers, Angteshang Charanga Appointed President

The general election of the All Naga Students Association (ANSAM) was held on Saturday (December 28) at ANSAM Secretariat Complex, Tahamzam in Senapati.
The All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM) has elected new executive members for its upcoming tenure from December 2024-December 2026.
The general election of the All Naga Students Association (ANSAM) was held on Saturday (December 28) at ANSAM Secretariat Complex, Tahamzam in Senapati.
Following the elction, Anteshang Charanga has been appointed as President, while Isaac Charanamei to serve as General Secretary of the student body.
The new executive members were elected from various affiliating tribal units of the body. The other new executives include Thamung Anteshang Charanga (Maring) as the President, Bosco Kashung (Maram) as the Vice President, Isaac Charenamei (Liangmai) as the General Secretary.
Singson Luikang elected as the Assistant General Secretary, Lungjo Bariampan Jesse (Inpui) as the Finance Secretary, Sochuingam Kashung (Tangkhul) as the Information & Publicity Secretary, Longmei Rex Chujaenthaipou (Rongmei) as the Games & Sports Secretary, Joyful (Anal) as the Education Secretary and Maka Zebulun (Chothe) as the Social and Cultural Secretary respectively.
The body also appointed new Assembly Affairs members with Andria (Anal) as Speaker, Karang Paul (Maram) as Deputy Speaker, and TP Dining (Rongmei) as Deputy Secretary.
