NSCN-IM to resume talks with Centre after Monsoon Session of Parliament: Sources

The NSCN-IM will be resuming talks with the Government of India after the Monsoon Parliament session, informed sources said.
The Chief of NSCN-IM TH.Muivah may also fly to the National capital to attend the talks.

While, the issue of flag and constitution still remains the core issues, sources informed that there are many loose ends which also needs to be resolved.
The NSCN-IM and GoI are yet to come to a meeting ground to bring a logical conclusion to the decades old Indo Naga political issue.
Mention may be made that NSCN-IM have made their position clear that any solution should be on the basis of the 3 August 2015 Framework Agreement (FA).
On the 8 year anniversary of signing of the FA, the NSCN-IM Chairman Q.Tuccu had hailed the historic FA as the “greatest achievement”, and asserted that FA is not only an indelible chapter in the Naga political history but also challenging task for Nagas to stand the ground till the logical conclusion is sealed.
Further, the Chairman have called upon the people to look forward with renewed hope and pledge allegiance to the Framework Agreement.
