After a crucial round of discussions with Government of India interlocutor AK Mishra yesterday, the National Socialist Council of Nagalim–Issak and Muivah (NSCN-IM) will continue its dialogue with the Centre in New Delhi for the third consecutive day today.
As per sources, yesterday’s meeting was extremely crucial and will be followed up by another round of discussion today.
The talks between the NSCN-IM and the Centre started after months of stalemate over the issue of a separate flag and constitution.
The fresh round of talks also comes at a time when Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has made a proposal to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for a Civil Flag for the Nagas.

Meanwhile, Neiba Kornu, member secretary of the Core Committee on Naga Political Issue revealed that the discussion over the last 2 days has revolved around the issue of a separate flag and constitution.
Meanwhile, the CCoNPI will hold a meeting with the Working Committee of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) today at the Chumukedima police complex in Nagaland.
According to Neiba Kronu, the meeting is being held to update the NNPGs on the latest developments.
It may be mentioned that the CCoNPI had held a crucial meeting with the NSCN-IM on Saturday last which in a way paved the way for the resumption of talks with the Centre.
