Nagaland reported one more case of COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases to 128.

The fresh case has been detected at the Kohima Quarantine Centre in a span of 24 hours. The number of active cases in the state now stands at 118 while 10 patients have recovered.

Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet this morning stated that out of 273 samples tested one new positive case from Kohima Quarantine centre has been reported in the last 24 hours.

“Out of 273 samples tested, 1 new case of COVID-19 +ve from Kohima Quarantine Centre have been reported in the last 24 hours,” Phom tweeted.

(Positive : 128 Active : 118 Recovered : 10 Death : 00)

Meanwhile, 12 more patients have tested negative of the virus in their second test. Of the recovered 8 are from Kohima and 4 from Dimapur. All patients are currently under observation.
