A total of 65 new COVID-19 cases were reported from Nagaland on Tuesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 3,520. The positive cases have been detected out of 503 tested
A total of 65 new COVID-19 cases were reported from Nagaland on Tuesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 3,520.
The positive cases have been detected out of 503 tested samples. Of the fresh cases, 41 were reported from Kohima, 23 from Dimapur and one from Mon.
“Necessary contact tracing has been activated and all primary contacts are under self-isolation,” Nagaland’s Minister for Health and Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom tweeted.
Phom further informed that 134 more COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease on Tuesday. Among those who recovered, 79 are from Dimapur, 36 from Kohima & 19 from Zunheboto.
The number of active cases now stands at 1,849, while 1,657 persons have recovered. So far, 7 people have succumbed to the deadly virus in the state.
