Nagaland on Monday reported 221 more cases of COVID-19, taking the state’s overall caseload to 7,240.
Of the fresh cases, 166 patients have been detected in Dimapur, 52 are from Kohima and 3 are from Mokokchung. Dimapur has the highest number of active c ases at 963, followed by Kohima at 366.
Taking to Twitter, Health minister S Pangnyu Phom informed, “221 +ve cases of COVID-19 detected today. Dimapur- 166, Kohima- 52, Mokokchung- 3. Also, 70 patients have been recovered. Dimapur- 69, Longleng- 1.”
The Health Minister further added, “Wear Mask, Keep Distance, Stay Safe. Together We Can!.”
Nagaland now has 1,474 active cases, while 5,754 people have recovered from the disease so far.
The coronavirus cases tally crossed the 7,000-mark on Sunday as 70 people, including 40 security personnel, tested positive for the virus.
