NPP candidate for the bye-elections to the Aolendeng Assembly Constituency – O Tinu Longkumer has been reported to missing.
Tinu Longkumer was last seen on March 26, while campaigning for the elections. The NPP’s Mokukchung unit has lodged an FIR in this regard at the Mokukchung today fearing that Longkumer has been abducted.
The NPP has also informed Nagaland Chief Election Officer Abhijeet Sinha on the development. Abhijeet Sinha meanwhile has said that the police is making necessary investigations into the case.
