Along with the contraband, police managed to nab Ataur Rahman, the son of notorious criminal Pakhi Miya.

Along with Ataur, the NCB nabbed two other persons in connection with the drugs. The contraband seizure happened during routine checking at the Sonapur toll gate. The three nabbed persons including Ataur were brought to Guwahati where they were formally placed under arrest.
