Mizoram govt forms 5-member committee to explore Old Pension Scheme for employees

In a significant development, the state government has set up a five-member committee to check if all state government employees can use the Old Pension Scheme.
The five-member committee to be headed by Lalhmingmawia Sailo, Additional Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Mizoram, would have to submit their suggestions in six months
Two other officials and a representative from the Mizoram Movement for Old Pension Scheme are also part of the committee. Their job would be to study the pension and retirement benefits of employees and think about the good and bad sides of the New Pension Scheme (NPS), 2010.
