Miss World 2024: Who is Sini Shetty who represented India and finished 8th

Miss India World in 2022, Sini Shetty, who represented India on the 71st Miss World pageant lost the race to win the crown of 2024 Miss World competition after she was defeated by Miss Lebanon Yasmina Zaytoun in the fight for the top four finalists.

She might not have won the Miss World 2024 crown but, she made the entire country proud with her enthusiastic participation and confidence.

Who is Sini Shetty?

22-year-old Sini Shetty was born and raised in Mumbai. She has graduated from S.K. Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mumbai.

Shetty is currently pursuing certification in order to fulfill his dream of becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. Shetty completed her arangetram at the age of 14, which is a significant feat in the dance.

She was crowned Miss India World in 2022. She represented Karnataka in Femina Miss India 2022 and won the title.

India has six Miss World winners: Aishwarya Rai (1994), Reita Faria (1966), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chillar (2017).

The prestigious 71st Miss World 2024 grand finale was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Saturday.

India last hosted the event in 1996 which saw Irene Skliva of Greece win the coveted title.
