Tension runs high in Manipur’s Lamboikhongnangkhong after a man was found dead inside a burnt car under suspicious circumstances on Saturday evening.
According to reports, a team from the Manipur Fire Service found the deceased after dousing the flames that has engulfed the vehicle. The fire service personnel immediately informed Lamphel Police, who rushed to the scene to investigate the matter.
As of now, details remain scarce and the exact cause of the fire and the man’s death remains unknown. The vehicle, bearing registration number MN01AG-7086, is registered in the name of Thokchom Roben Singh.
Authorities have launched further investigations to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
