Manipur: Security Forces Arrest Two Active PREPAK (Pro) Cadres in Separate Operations

The two active PREPAK-Pro militants were arrested from Jiribam and Bishnupur districts
Continuing its crackdown against militancy and extortion activities, Manipur Police has arrested two active PREPAK-Pro cadres in the state. The two militants were apprehended in two separate operations in Jiribam and Bishnupur districts.
In Jiribam, one active PREPAK-Pro cadre identified as Saikhom Sandip Singha has been apprehended from Bidya Nagar under Jiribam police station in Jiriba, district. The arrested militant reportedly hails from Sonai Bazar in Cachar district of neighbouring Assam.
Meanwhile, another active PREPAK-Pro militant has been apprehended in Bishnupur district.
The arrested militant has been identified as Irengbam Robinson Singh Ningthoukhong Kha Khunou of Ward No. 4 under Bishnupur police station in Bishnupur district.
A cache of arms and ammunition have been seized from him including empty cases of point 3 knot 3, 7.62 mm SLR, INSAS, 7.62 AK and one sim card.
