Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday flagged off a cycle rally organised as part of the week-long celebration of Jan Aushadi Divas, 2021.
“Flagged off a cycle rally organised as part of the week-long celebration of #JanAushadiDiwas2021. Generic quality medicines are being provided to people at affordable prices under #PradhanMantriBhartiyaJanAushadiPariyojana,” CM Biren Singh tweeted.
The rally, which seeks to spread awareness on the importance of Central government’s Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Jan Aushadi Pariyojana, passed through various locations in Imphal such as the Governor Crossing, Keishampat Traffic Point, Wahengbam Leikai, before culminating at Chingmeirong.
Through select outlets medicines are made available to people at affordable prices under the scheme.
The rally was organized by the Eastern Pharma Division in association with Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association.
