The all party meet convened by Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh is underway at his official residence. Leaders cutting across party lines are attending the meet.

The meeting was convened by Manipur Chief Minister to discuss the recent development in the Naga Peace Process and its possible ramifications in the State.

Notably, things have started to move thick and fast in Manipur following the announcement of October 31 deadline to conclude Peace talks.

It may be mentioned that there is rising apprehension in Manipur in the wake of some reports in local media that a territorial council may be formed in the state as part of the solution to Naga Peace Talks.

In fact chief minister N Biren Singh had rushed to Delhi yesterday in the wake of the developments and returned back the same day. Before leaving for Delhi Biren Singh held a meeting with ruling coalition legislators.
