Khelo India Youth Games 2023: Arunachal athletes hopeful of bringing laurels

Athletes from Arunachal Pradesh who will represent the state at the 6th edition of Khelo India Youth Games have expressed hope of bringing laurels to the state.

Khelo India Youth Games 2023 will take place in Chennai from January 19 to 31.

The upcoming edition of the game will take place in four cities of Tamil Nadu–Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, and Coimbatore.

Altogether 16 participants will represent the state in various disciplines including Judo, Weightlifting and Boxing.

The Sports Authority of Arunachal Pradesh today held a send-off program for the athletes as they embark on a quest to bring glory and laurels to the state.

Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, athletes said that they are excited to compete in the competitions and wish to win medals.
