No relief for the common man from skyrocketing fuel prices.

Prices of petrol and diesel shot to all-time high, petrol selling at just a paisa less than 80 rupees in Delhi and Rs 87 a litre in Mumbai with diesel shot to record high at Rs 72 per litre in Delhi and Rs 76 per litre in Mumbai.

In the northeast, petrol in Sikkim, is selling at Rs 83 per litre and diesel at almost 74 rupees a litre.

Prices in Shillong was relatively lower with petrol at Rs 79 and diesel at almost Rs 72 per litre. Petrol price in Nagaland is Rs 78, while in Aizawl and Itanagar petrol is at Rs 75 and Rs 78 per litre in Agartala and Imphal.

Meanwhile, in Guwahati, petrol is selling at Rs 83 and diesel at Rs 75 per litre.

Prices of petrol and diesel is at its maximum in Assam’s Majuli district which also happens to be Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s constituency. Petrol is selling at almost Rs 84 and Diesel at Rs 77 per litre.
