Former Assam minister and Golaghat MLA Ajanta Neog and former Assam Congress legislator Rajdeep Goala are set to join the BJP on December 29, 2021.
Both the leaders will join BJP tomorrow at the state BJP headquarters in Hengrabari.
According to a statement released by the state BJP office, it is mentioned that Ajanta Neog and Rajdeep Goala will be joining the ruling party at 11 AM at a function organized at the BJP headquarters on Tuesday in presence of the State BJP President Ranjeet Kumar Dass.
It is to be mentioned Neog and Goala met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday who was on a three-day visit in the state.
Neog had met Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and North-East Democratic Alliance convenor Himanta Biswa Sarma earlier this month.
