Assam BJP MLA Teras Gowala who had recently resigned citing dissatisfaction over the appointment for various posts in the corporate offices of Assam, has withdrawn his resignation.
The development comes after the MLA met Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at his Dibrugarh residence late yesterday.
Gowala said that the meeting with the Chief Minister was very positive and the Chief Minister has assured of taking him into confidence while taking any decision regarding Duliajan constituency in future.
MLA Teras Gowala resigned on October 23 following CM’s approval of 40 appointments including MLAs and former chief secretaries in different posts of corporations and boards of the State.
