This job fair is a unique initiative to provide ex-servicemen (ESM) with a second chance to explore employment opportunities.

The Directorate General Re-settlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, will be hosting an Ex-Servicemen Job Fair at Brahmaputra Hall, Narangi Military Station in Guwahati on February 7. This job fair is a unique initiative to provide ex-servicemen (ESM) with a second chance to explore employment opportunities.

Ex-servicemen looking for jobs are invited to attend the event, where they will have the opportunity to meet with various employers. The registration for the job fair will begin at the venue from 7 am and continue until 10 am. To register, ESM must bring their ESM identity card and five copies of their latest CV or bio-data, complete with a photograph.

The event will provide job seekers with access to multiple career opportunities, offering a hassle-free recruitment process. Corporates will conduct interviews and screenings, and successful candidates may be appointed for roles such as Senior Supervisors, Mid/Senior Level Managers, and Strategic Planners & Project Directors.

This job fair aims to bridge the gap between ex-servicemen and employers, providing them with a platform to secure meaningful employment after their service.
