Political war of words continues in Tripura, as CPI (M) politburo member Brinda Karat alleged that the BJP-led Government has failed to fulfill its poll promises in Tripura even after being in power for over five months now.
Slamming the BJP-led government, Karat alleged that the state employees should have received their pay by now as per the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission as promised in the BJP’s election manifesto.
Talking about the NRC exercise, Karat made it clear that no bona fide Indian should be identified as a foreigner. Karat also expressed concern over the attacks on party leaders and supporters, who were on a fund-raising drive for the flood-affected people of Kerala.
