China has objected to the visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s 2-day visit to the frontier State of Arunachal Pradesh that concluded on Friday.

China objected to the Defence Minister’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh urging India to stop taking steps that might complicate the boundary matter or stir unrest between the two neighbouring countries.

Notably, China claims Arunachal Pradesh as part of South Tibet and the two countries have so far held 21 rounds of talks to resolve the border dispute.

China has been routinely objecting to Indian leaders’ visit to Arunachal Pradesh.
