Arunachal: Vehicle movement restricted on Pinjoli bridge in West Kamreng

According to the Border Roads Task Force (BRTF), a bailey panel of the bridge has been displaced.
The West Kameng administration on Friday issued a prohibitory order restricting all types of vehicles from plying on the Pinjoli bridge on the Balipara-Charuduar-Tawang road near Bhalukpong in Aunachal Pradesh’s West Kameng district.
According to the Border Roads Task Force (BRTF), a bailey panel of the bridge has been displaced.
The commander of 14 BRTF initiated an inspection in the presence of BRO authorities and a team from 122 regiment, and it was discovered that the bridge is unsafe for vehicular movement.
Inorder to ensure the safety of all the vehicles,the 14 BRTF have initiated the restoration works of the bridge from Saturday. t has been reported that the restoration work could take at least a week to complete.
Meanwhilte, the route is diverted from Rafting point road connecting Kimi road to Elephant.
