BJP National General Secy visits Nagaland to take stock of election preparation

BL. Santhosh there was no such discussions on voting out or not issuing tickets to 7 sitting MLAs of BJP.

Following the two day visit of BJP National General Secretary BL Santhosh in Nagaland, to take stock of preparations for the upcoming 2023 general assembly elections, speculations on anti-incumbency in atleast 7 constituencies held by the BJP are doing the rounds in the state.

Responding to the speculations, BJP National Spokesperson, Mmhonlumo Kikon, speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, dismissed all rumours and termed it as “mere speculations.”

He said, during the entire discussions held during the visit of BL. Santhosh there was no such discussions on voting out or not issuing tickets to 7 sitting MLAs of BJP.

While preparations for the 2023 general Assembly elections has begun in Nagaland, the saffron party has exuded confidence of performing well in the 2023 general elections.

BJP National General Secretary BL. Santhosh arrived in Nagaland for a two day extensive tour program from 25 August to 26 August to take stock of preparation for the upcoming general assembly elections 2023.
