In a sensational incident, an attempt was made to kidnap a minor in the heart of Guwahati on Thursday.
One Dharmendra Kakoti tried to kidnap a five year old child from the busy parking lot of Nemcare Hospital in the city.
The kidnapper tried to flee with the child in a car but people managed to nab him and beat him up.
The child’s father Jyoti Shankar Bhakat, a fish trader by profession, filed an FIR at the Bhangagarh police station, after which Kakoti was arrested.
